TRANS DESERT 2012: THE SECRET'S GUARDSBEWARE OF DAKAR
4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS BIKE TRIP
The Trans Desert bike trip this year is with a especial mission: to protect the hidden Paracas Geoglyphs againts the threat of possible destruction by the pass of the Dakar 2012 rally vehicles.
The Geoglyphs are not protected, there are not signs, they are not on the maps, all these make them very vulnerable. We know the secret of their location and we will be there on the day of the Dakar vehicles pass, January 14th 2012 to stand on safe and strategic spots with markers visible to the pilots to make sure nothing bad would occur to the Geoglyphs.
Afterwards we will follow our way on bikes through the desert on the Paracas National Reserve to Bahía de la Independencia, Paracas and finally Pisco.

Deployment to strategic points around the Geoglyphs. Wait and watch for the Dakar vehicles pass.
Depending on time, following action options are:
A. Depart to Laguna Grande. Overnight in a local fishermen shelter
B. Camp
Sunday Jan 15th 2012
A. Bike ride to Lagunillas. Camp.
B. Bike ride to Laguna Grande. Overnight in a local fishermen shelter
Monday Jan 16th 2012
A. Final bike ride to Pisco. Bus to Lima
B. Bike ride to Lagunillas, Paracas and Pisco. Bus to Lima
