VISITA A LOS CARINGAS

Hace ya más de un año ya que chekando el Google Earth notamos una línea difusa que podría ser una camino que une por los cerros las cuencas secas de las quebradas de Punta Hermosa y San Bartolo. Hicimos la convocatoria, algunos escepticos dijeron que esa ruta no existe, que es un espejismo, una alucinación. Y como siempre, fuimos, pues más pudo nuestro optimismo y sed de aventura. Tres bravos hicimos el recorrido exploratorio con éxito y hallamos que el camino llamado por nosotros ENTRE HUAYCOS existe. Estamos muy orgullosos de haberlo descubierto y haber sido los primeros en recorrerlo en bicicleta.  Es un ciclo-trekking bien bacán.

Plan de la salida: en la CTP Wagon hasta Km 43 Antigua Panamericana Sur (Playa El Silencio). En bici por la quebrada para visitar el asentamiento prehispánico de los Caringas, seguimos hasta el abra y bajada por el huayco de quebrada Chamaure. Retorno a Lima igual

VISIT TO CARINGAS FROM MALANCHE TO CHAMAURE

More than a year from now we were studying the maps and noticed on the Google Earth images a diffuse line that would be a trail between the moountains linking the Punta Hermosa and San Bartolo dry river beds. On the ground chances were good to find a different thing. We posted the public invitation to go, some skepticals said that route doesn't exist, that is an illusion, an hallucination. We went, as always encouraged by our optimism and desire for adventure. The exploration trip was completed succesfully by three braves. The so named by us ENTRE HUAYCOS trail exists and we are proud to be the first bikers on it. This is a nice cyclo-trekking.

This Saturday Oct 15th we go again on bikes to repeat the epic discovery 

Trip plan: on the CTP Wagon to Km 43 Antigua Panamericana Sur (Playa El Silencio). On bikes by the ravine to visit the Caringas pre-hispanic site and on to reach the summit followed by a nice downhill ride along the Chamaure dry river bed. Return to Lima
