A good motive, a good route and a good destination, the former Runawanak’s reign now a days the reign of the fruit of vine and men’s work granted by generous mother nature and converted into a spiritous brew flagship of Peruvian winery industry to proudly celebrate what is Made in Peru.

Departure from Lima Sat Feb 4^th early morning to Cañete. Full day bike ride to arrive by sunset to our destination where a beautiful swimming pool is waiting for us to finish the journey and delicious energy restoring dishes: sopa seca con carapulcra, tacu-tacu y rissotto di camaroni together with the best Pisco Sours in the country so far.

We use a nice small hotel clean, plenty of hot water, quiet and not expensive (S/80 double room). With swimming pool and tranquil, apart from the noise the Pisco Sour celebration would produce in the town.

Sunday morning options are river rafting or bike ride exploring the rural trails in the área. After lunch return to Cañete and on to Lima.

Lima – Cañete – Lima
1. Private transfer on the CTP Wagon. 10 bikers + bikes.  Vehicle + driver + fuel + tolls, round trip total cost is S/600.  This sum can be divided among 10 bikers S/60 each. The smaller the group the higher the cost per person.

Also is posible pick-up from any bus stop or crossing on the way: Cine Orrantia – Av. Javier Prado – Trebol – Panamericana Sur – Puente Benavides – etc.  Call to figure this out.

2. Public transportation service. Bus Soyuz. Cost: S/25 + S/15 bike shipping = S/40 one way.

Departure: Sat Feb 4th 6:30am from Soyuz bus station, Mexico Ave. 2^nd block

BRING:
Bicycle in perfect condition –Bike rentals available just in case.  Helmet. Tool. Air pump. Spare tuve. Tire repair kit. Hydration fluid 1lt., there are shops on the way to re-supply. Gloves. Sunglasses. Sunblock. Insect repellent. Money for transport, accommodation and food expenses.

RECOMMENDED Book the hotel, chances to get full are high.

We, CTP – Cicloturismo Perú, do not go cycling on highways, driveways nor in the city because it is too toxic, dangerous due the cars and boring.  CTP rides are by good, safe, healthy and funny routes only.

Un buen motivo, una buena ruta y un buen destino, el reino de los RUNAWANAK ahora convertido en reino del fruto de la vid y del trabajo del hombre que recibe de la generosa naturaleza y que convierte en espirituoso brebaje de bandera peruana para celebrar con orgullo el sabor de lo que el Perú produce.
Partimos de Lima el Sabado 4 Febrero tempranol hasta Cañete. Emprendemos la cletada y llegaremos al atardecer a nuestro destino donde nos esperan una refrescante piscina para coronar la jornada y deliciosos platos para reponer las energías: sopa seca con carapulcra, tacu-tacu y rissotto di camaroni acompañados de los mejores Pisco Sours del Perú y no podía ser de otro modo.

Nos hospedamos en un hotelito bueno, bonito y barato (S/80 la habitación doble) . Con piscina, tranquilo y apartado del bullicio que la celebración pisquera supone habrá en el pueblo.

El domingo por la mañana las opciones son hacer canotaje o explorar en cleta los caminos rurales de la zona. Después del almuerzo emprendemos el retorno a Cañete y de ahí nos embarcamos a Lima.

Las opciones para el traslado Lima – Cañete – Lima son
1. Traslado privado en la CTP Wagon. 10 bikers + cletas.  El vehiculo + chofer + combustible + peajes cuesta en total ida y vuelta S/600 los cuales divididos entre 10 resulta a S/60 cada uno. Si van menos cuesta un poco más por persona.
Sabado 4 febrero
Punto de partida A.  6:30am Parque detrás del Cine Orrantia (cruce de Av. Javier Prado con Av. Arequipa
Punto de partida B. 7:00am Puente Benavides junto a la Universidad Ricardo Palma.
Tambien podemos recoger en cualquier cruce o paradero a lo largo del recorrido: Cine Orrantia – Av. Javier Prado – Trebol – Panamericana Sur – Puente Benavides – etc.  Llamar para coordinar.

2. Traslado en transporte publico, bus Soyuz.  Cuesta S/ 25 pasaje + S/15 flete de bici = S/40 la ida. La vuelta cuesta igual.

RECOMENDAMOS reservar con anticipación, el hotel va a estar full.

A nice trail many times ridden by us.

Moderate level

Sat 28th Biking from Asia to Quilmana along the lomas trail, afternoon arrival Quilmana, overnight at Oscar’s estancia.

Sun 29th Biking to Cerro Azul by the trail on the ravine through the farm lands. This section has not been done before, but it looks very interesting

Afternoon beach and relax session.

This is a very nice ride, waiting for us are delicious sopa seca con carapucra at Oscar’s, home made wine, the Estancia a little house in the praire. Two days living in open pure air, full peace, total relax, beach, fun and good cycling.

There are two options for the transfer Lima - Asia - Quilmaná - Cerro Azul – Lima:

Option 1.

Private transfer on the CTP Wagon –for 10 bikers and bikes, round trip from Lima.  Confortable, good music and cycling equipped: air pump, spare parts, tire repair kit, chain oil, tools and bike racks to take the bikes secured and to avoid scratches.

Cost: S/ 675 soles (vehicle + driver + fuel + tolls) to be splitted by 10 bikers, S/ 67.50 each. If less than 10 people each pays some more.

Cost: S/ 20 ticket + S/ 15 bike shipping –one way. Return trip about the same on Jan 29^th at 4pm from Soyuz bus station in Cañete located some 7k from Cerro Azul

WE CTP –CICLOTURISMO PERU DON’T CYCLE ON HIGHWAYS, DRIVEWAYS NOR STREETS IN THE CITY, IT IS TOO TOXIC, VERY DANGEROUS DUE THE CARS AND BORING.  CTP GOES BY GOOD, HEALTHY, SAFE AND FUNNY ADVENTURE TRAILS ONLY.

Rutas de Verano:  ASIA – QUILMANA – CERRO AZUL

28 y 29 enero

Linda ruta ya recorrida varias veces por nosotros.

Nivel moderado.

El sábado 28 cletamos de Asia hasta Quilmaná por el camino de las lomas, llegamos por la tarde, nos hospedamos en la Estancia de Oscar Rojas.

El domingo 29 cletamos hasta Cerro Azul por el camino de la quebradita entre las chacras. Esta parte no la hemos hecho nunca antes, pero se ve muy interesante.

Tarde de playa en Cerro Azul.

Este es un paseo bien bacán, la sopa seca con carapulcra donde Oscar riquísima, el vino de chacra muy bueno, la Estancia es un pequeño paraíso en la tierra. Dos días de vida al aire libre y puro, paz total, relax, playa, buena onda y muy buen cycling.

Tenemos dos opciones para ir. Los traslados Lima - Asia - Quilmaná - Cerro Azul – Lima pueden ser:

Opcion 1.

Traslado privado en la CTP Wagon Bikers y Cletas ida y vuelta desde Lima.  Cómodo, buena música y con equipo cycling: inflador, repuestos, parches, cámaras, aceite, herramientas y porta bicicletas especial para que las bicis vayan seguras y sin dañarse.

El traslado privado en la CTP Wagon (vehiculo + chofer + combustible + peajes) cuesta S/.675 soles que se debe dividir entre los que van. Capacidad: 10 bikers + cletas. Si van 10 costaría S/. 67.50 cada uno, si van menos cuesta un poco más.

Lugar de partida: Estacion de colectivos a Cieneguilla. Esquina de Javier Prado con Aviación.
Traslado hasta Cieneguilla en colectivo. Cuesta unos 10 - 12 soles: biker + cleta
En Cieneguilla empieza el cleteo, sigue la trepada hasta la cumbre, luego la bajada por la quebrada y terminamos en Playa El Silencio, Punta Hermosa.
Retorno a Lima igual en colectivo.
